What happens when the future you thought you were building suddenly disappears?In this deeply personal episode of Mirror Talk: Soulful Conversations, Tobi sits down with Dale Atkinson, a father, entrepreneur and cancer advocate whose life changed dramatically in October 2024.Within a matter of weeks, Dale’s partner underwent lung cancer surgery; he received an advanced cancer diagnosis on his youngest son’s first birthday, he lost his mother, and he was given a prognosis of less than twelve months.At one stage, Dale was admitted to palliative care while hospice arrangements were being discussed.But his journey took an unexpected turn.In March 2025, scans showed that the metastases were no longer visible and the primary tumour had reduced significantly. By June, the tumour and metastases were no longer visible on his scans.
